Gaskets

A flexible sealing device used to provide a seal between two or more surface. Gaskets can either be punched out of sheet or Strip material to provide a simple flat permanent seal or can be extruded into a complicated shape for more demanding applications or where the surface to be sealed are moving or opening and closing. Gaskets can be made our of many materials to suit the application but are generally Rubber or softer Plastic (e.g. P.V.C.).
