How much does delivery cost?

We believe in giving our customers the best choice we can when it comes to shipping options. So, whether it is an envelope, parcel or a pallet, to a local address or worldwide we can accommodate it, plus:

• UK shipping from just £8.00 for small orders
• Free UK shipping on orders over £36* (some remote services excluded)
• Overseas shipping from just £14.00
• Web-only shipping options and choices.

*Orders of 3D Printing filament are subject to a minimum 3 spool order to qualify for free carraige

Most options are priced by weight, so when you've selected what you want to order, go to 'checkout' and you'll be presented with a list of all available options for your area. Just choose the best option depending on how quickly you need delivery.

How quickly do you despatch?

If you place your order before 3.45pm on a weekday, we will despatch your order from our warehouse the same day, if the items are in stock.

Orders placed on our website after the cut-off time on weekdays, or during weekends and Bank Holidays, will be despatched on the next working day.

If some or all of the items you require are not in stock, we will put the order on ‘backorder’ and advise you of a lead-time for despatch.

What is a backorder?

If we don’t have sufficient stock to make up your order, we will need to contact our suppliers to replenish our stock. We'll let you know when we will be able to despatch your order to you – the lead-time – and your order will become a ‘Backorder’. We’ll always keep you updated if there is a change in the expected date of despatch.

Do you deliver anywhere?

We can despatch your order to any recognised postal address in any region of the world, through a long established and proven network of domestic and international carriers. When you place an order on our website, the method of despatch and the carriage charge to your chosen delivery address will be clearly quoted to you, before you ‘checkout’ to pay for your order.

Please note that our carriers cannot deliver to a Postal Box (P.O. Box) address.

I need my goods urgently, what options are there?

If your delivery address is within the United Kingdom, you can select an earlier next-working day delivery from our carrier DPD as you ‘checkout’ from the website ordering process. Charges for timed deliveries are as follows:

Next Day before 10.30am - £25.00
Next Day Saturday - £25.00

(Excludes Scottish Highlands & Islands, Northern Ireland, Isles of Man & Scilly. VAT will be added to the above.)

As for all Royal Mail Delivery Services, prices are subject to VAT.

If your delivery address is in any other region of the world, you will be given a number of carriage options to choose from, including ‘Royal Mail Air Mail’ and DPD's ‘Classic’ and 'Air Express' services. Regrettably, you will not be able to influence the eventual time or date of delivery, and the number of days stated for delivery is for indication only.

Customers are always welcome to arrange for an order to be collected by their own choice of carrier. However, such arrangements can only be made via the Sales Office.

Can I track my order?

When you place an order on the website, we will send you a consignment tracking number by email when your order is despatched from our warehouse.

We will give you a link to the carrier’s website so you can check the progress of your order through their distribution network.

If you experience difficulties in tracking your order, or there is undue delay in making delivery, please contact the Sales Office for assistance.

Please note that in the case of Royal Mail deliveries, tracking details only appear on the Royal Mail Tracking website after a signature has been obtained on delivery.

If you’ve not been able to locate your order on the carrier’s tracking site, or perhaps you’re still waiting to be advised of despatch from our Stores, please don’t hesitate to contact the Sales Office.

I’m not going to be in to sign for the order, what can I do?

All orders require a signature on delivery. If you're not in when the delivery driver calls they will normally leave a card to contact them to arrange a suitable time to deliver. If you would like the package left somewhere or with someone else you will be able to leave your instructions as you 'checkout' and pay for your order.

There are some things our delivery drivers can't do:
• Be responsible for loss/damage where they've followed your instructions
• Redeliver to another address (except a neighbour) if you're not in
• Deliver at a specific time or phone you first to arrange a suitable time.

Can I choose the delivery date?

Delivery to most UK addresses is next-working day before 5pm via DPD Express Parcels. Some remote addresses take longer, as advised by the website when you place your order.

Delivery by Royal Mail can vary, and times are given as an indication only.

The delivery date at an overseas address cannot be exactly predicted, and times are given as an indication only.

What is direct delivery?

If you have ordered heavy or bulky items, it is often quicker and more cost-effective for our supplier to make a despatch direct to your delivery address. We will make the arrangements and keep you informed of the expected delivery date.
