Precision Parts-Counting Laboratory Balance

A portable, precision laboratory balance with parts-counting, dispensing and check weighing (weighing within tolerance) facilities. The balance is housed in a robust ABS plastic case which has adjustable feet and a level indicator for easy levelling. The key pad and LCD display are protected by a dust and splash-proof membrane. An inbuilt calibration programme enables the balance to be quickly recalibrated, using the calibration weight supplied.

The tare (zero) facility can be repeatedly reset, enabling the weight of additions to the contents on the weigh-pan to be measured. The 'tare memory' facility, allows the tare-cup weight and the weight of ingredients to be stored separately, enabling the 'net total' weight of a mixture to be indicated.

For parts-counting, a pre-selected quantity of 10, 30, 50 or 100 pieces is placed on the balance. This enables the total quantity, total weight and individual item weight, of an unknown quantity of items to be established. The parts-counting facility has an optimisation programme for accurate counting of small items.
For dispensing and check weighing, the upper and lower limiting values can be pre-set using weights, items, or numerically on the keyboard and displayed as grams or items. The display shows if subsequent weighings are above, within or below the set limits.
A 230 volt mains adapter and protective cover are supplied.

A data interface (RS232 C), which enables bidirectional connection to a PC and direct print-out to the Standard Printer 133-8989 or the Advanced Statistics Printers 102-9171 or 133-9086, are available as optional accessories.
