Precision Laboratory Balance - External Calibration

The balances have adjustable feet and a level indicator. The touch-type keys and LCD display are protected by a splash-proof membrane. The 320 gram balance includes a cylindrical draught-guard as standard. (See inset.)

The tare (zeroing) facility can be repeatedly reset, enabling the weight of additions to the contents on the weigh-pan to be measured. In addition, a 'tare memory' facility allows the tare-cup weight and the weight of ingredients to be stored separately, enabling the 'net total' weight of a mixture to be indicated.

For parts-counting, a pre-selected quantity of 5, 10, 25 or 50 pieces is placed on the balance. This enables the total quantity, total weight and individual item weight of an unknown quantity of items to be established. A memory facility enables identification and storage of individual weighing/counting operations. These can then be recalled for accumulation of results.

The GS balances incorporate a calibration programme which enables recalibration using the certified calibration weight supplied.

A data interface (RS232 C) enables bidirectional connection to a PC and direct print-out to the Standard Printer 133-8989 or the Statistics Printer 133-9086. A 230 volt mains adaptor is supplied.
